over

Well.. The day of busy is over.. Christmas went well. DD1 got up at 645... thanks.. mommy went to bed at 3.. blech.. but DD2 didnt get up till about 730.. and then as we are mean, and we were waiting for family to be here, they didnt even get to get into their gifts till almost 930.. The quiche came out good, tho I dont think I should blind bake the crust next time. I ended up making 4 of them. 1 bacon and cheese, 1 sausage and cheese, 1 broccoli and cheese, and one with the leftover bits of sausage, bacon and broccoli. I think G liked that one the best :) Partly cause it had no crust I think. I will put the recipe that I used shortly.. I had to work the next day.. blech.. then we got to go to another friends house to see other friends that were up from MD. That was great, ordered in Chinese and sushi. It was a great time. Lastnight we took the girls to the Turtle Back Zoo cause they had a light display going on. It was pretty, and supopsed to be the warmest night of the week! The most exciting part was the wolves actually being up and wandering about. Other then that the open house on Friday went well. Only a handful of people came, but thats ok too. hmmm.. I might have to do a few recipes today.. So other then the boring laundry today I might actually have some time to crochet a bit. I think I know where my things are.. in a box!!! Other then that.. meh.. I will have to get around to posting pictures at some point.. we will see.. And I think that I get to stay home and sleep for new years :) that would be great!

QUICHE

so simple..

In a LARGE bowl crack all 8 eggs add the milk/cream/half and half and mix well. Into the crust or preped pie plate, put the filling topped with the cheese, then pour the eggs over top. place in oven and cook for about 30 mins, but check it. insert a knife and when it comes out clean it is done! So easy. NOTE: if you are using the broccoli, it must be steamed 1st and then drained VERY well.
